About This Blog - What is this?

These drawings are part of a long term project that has been underway for the better part of a decade. While the drawings focus on the body and natural history elements, the subject matter often varies wildly.

The drawings are emotional, fluid yet precise. I call them Body Landscapes because I feel it best describes them-elements of the body stretched and cut up over several visual planes but also unified, continuous. All the drawings have a central focus but its often visually abstracted.
